Woodward Management Partners constantly seeks cost effective, environmentally sensitive alternatives when considering both operating and capital expenditures. We believe these practices are valued by our owners and our customers alike.

Recent initiatives have focused on:

  • Flooring: to the extent possible, we seek to substitute vinyl or wood flooring on surfaces that have traditionally been covered with carpet. While this practice incurs a modest incremental up-front cost it results in improved long-term payback due to the superior relative longevity of vinyl and wood. The substitution also reduces oil consumption (nylon in the carpeting) and landfill volumes.
  • When carpet is required, Woodward Management Partners uses longer lived or recycled carpeting provided by Shaw or Mohawk Industries.
  • Paint: all interior and exterior painting is completed using low VOC paint products supplied by Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore or Glidden.
  • Woodward Management Partners is currently exploring a variety of environmentally sensitive alternatives related to site and interior lighting and cleaning chemicals.
